Born and raised in the Chicagoland area, Diana Salata has had a knack for illustrations ever since she was little. Illustrations were a big influence for her growing up, watching movies from the Disney Renaissance flourish as well as watching how cartoons from various media outlets evolved and challenge the genre. With drawings ranging from cute and sweet to grand and complex, Salata has developed the knack for vector illustration with a passion for conceptual art. Her philosophy is to try to inspire other budding artists just as previous illustrators and media programs have done for her. Art is universal and an easy language to use to break down communication barriers to help others connect, according to her.
Other past times Salata has are playing video games, studying up on paranormal activities, and caring for her Chihuahua-mix, Jack.
